The best care begins with “U.” From our state-of-the-art hospitals and leading-edge research to our friendly community clinics throughout Southern California, UCLA Health always puts the patient first. At UCLA, you and your loved ones can be confident you are getting the finest care in an environment of unparalleled compassion and respect.
For the 25th consecutive year, UCLA Health ranks as one of the nation′s top five hospitals – and the best in the Western United States – in U.S. News & World Report′s survey of “America′s Best Hospitals.” Services that rank among the top 10 in the nation include oncology, diabetes, endocrinology, ophthalmology and neurology.
The diverse physicians and researchers of UCLA Health provide cutting-edge and research-based care in adult and pediatric organ transplantation, cancer, reconstructive transplantation, AIDS, geriatrics, heart care, integrative health care, mental health, minimally invasive and robotic surgeries, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, pediatric and adolescent medicine, spine and brain disorders, and urology.
The gateway to UCLA Health is the International Relations department, available to make your transition to Los Angeles simple and ensure our world-class care is easily accessible. With one phone call, all your needs – from medical records review to visa assistance to teleconsultation – will be met. Arrangements can be made for accommodations for family members and patients receiving follow-up care once they leave the hospital.
International Relations representatives will ensure you are being seen by the appropriate physicians and that your treatment plan fits all of your personal, health and financial needs.
UCLA is investing in you. Before your arrival at UCLA Health and to save precious time between diagnosis and treatment, the UCLA Health – CTI Medical Laboratory will open in Shanghai in January. Patients who choose to use this state-of-the-art lab will be given a full report in Mandarin and English before traveling to Los Angeles. The results will be stored in the UCLA electronic medical record system, allowing for better care coordination and faster access to patient care services at UCLA Health.
Your care does not end when you depart from UCLA Health either. We monitor and follow up with you from a distance to ensure your continued progress.
