Founded in 1901, Children′s Hospital Los Angeles is the oldest freestanding pediatric hospital in California. The hospital′s Center for Global Health consists of International Patient Services, Wellness Exams and the Global Telemedicine Program. Children′s Hospital offers comprehensive wellness and physical examinations tailored to the patient′s needs. Services may include detailed physical examinations; auditory, dental and vision exams; immunizations; laboratory, radiology and imaging testing; and other primary care services.
Lastly, the Global Telemedicine Program provides initial and follow-up pediatric specialty consultations via telemedicine to care for the patient′s health condition, without the need to travel far distances for care.
